Tall Tales - The Man Walk

Event Details

  • Event Date:

  • Location: City Library

Welcome to Tall Tales!

Our newest Library program is aimed at encouraging the men in our community to come along and hear from local social organisations and speakers with the occasional author talk!

July’s session is a Hobby Highlight and we are excited to welcome Mark Burns, the founder and CEO of the Man Walk who will be discussing this fantastic group and how you can get involved.

The man walk provides an opportunity for men to get together to walk, talk and support each other in a regular and healthy way.

The Man Walk provides an environment that is positive, supportive and inclusive, where there is no pressure and no barriers to entry. Just an opportunity to walk, talk and support! We want to make it ok to talk, and we want to make it ok for men to ask for help if they need it.

What You’ll Do:

This is a casual discussion in the library space where you’ll hear about the organisation, what they do and how you can join, with a Q and A to follow.

Knowledge Required:

None, this program is to introduce our community to social groups, hobbies and authors they may be interested in joining.

Who Should Attend:

This program is Adults, however older teens are welcome to join.
