As a member of Shellharbour City Libraries you have free access to a number of eBook and eAudio platforms including BorrowBox, Libby and Indyreads.


Commencing Wednesday 17 March 2021.

  • download the Libby app on your smart device.
  • open the app. Choose Shellharbour City Libraries from the dropdown.
  • you will need a valid library membership number for your username.
  • your password is attached to your library member number. You can set or reset password here.
  • search for and borrow titles including eMagazines
  • borrow up to three eBooks or eAudiobooks for up to 21 days. Magazines are a 21 day loan, and do not count towards your loan limit.
  • return items before due date if you want.
  • all titles are automatically returned at the end of the lending period.

  • download the Borrow Box app on your smart device.
  • open the app. Search for the library by typing Shell and choose Shellharbour City Libraries.
  • you will need a valid library membership number for your username.
  • your password is the password attached to your library member number. You can set/reset password here.
  • search for and borrow titles. 
  • borrow up to five eBooks and five eAudiobooks for 14 days.
  • return items before due date if you want.
  • titles are automatically returned at the end of the lending period.

  • download the Indyreads app on App Store or Android.
  • open the app. Select Shellharbour City Libraries from the Select Library list.
  • you will need a valid library membership number for your username.
  • your password is the password attached to your library member number. You can set/reset password here.
  • search for and borrow titles.
  • borrow up to 20 titles for 21 days.
  • free reservations.
  • return items before due date if you want.
  • titles are automatically returned at the end of the lending period.
