We’ve upgraded to a newer and more sophisticated system called Innovative, bringing powerful new features like improved searching, mobile access from a library app and a more personalised experience for you.
Managing your account and accessing digital library collections is easier than ever before!
You’ll enjoy improved searching, better access to your account and digital resources. It’s designed to make your library experience simpler and more intuitive. There’s also a Library App!
This is just the beginning of even better things to come. There will be some more exciting features coming over the following months, so stay tuned!
Yes! Access to your library online has just greatly improved.
From the Library App, you can;
- manage your account including your loans, holds & more
- access your digital library membership card
- explore the digital library
- discover what’s on and latest library news
There’s also a fun little feature called ‘Scan ISBN Barcode’ for those times you’re out shopping and you see a book you’d like to read. Just scan the barcode on the back of the book to see if our library has a copy – it’s so easy!
Shellharbour Village Library will reopen Tuesday 8 July.
Your account details, current loans and holds have all carried over to the new system.
The only change is that your reading history and password will reset from 1 July 2025. If you need help, please let us know.
Yes! Through your online account via the library catalogue, you’ll be able to create your own reading lists that you can share through social media or email.
You can take an online self-paced tour of the website by clicking the ‘Take a tour’ button located under the search bar.
There’s also a very comprehensive online help section located at the top right-hand side of the screen.
