City Library, Thursday 23 October, 6pm
Our goal is to address the things we all need to do in our adult lives but may have never been taught, or just have questions about!
What you’ll do:
Wondering what experiences you can provide a baby or young child that best supports their social, emotional and cognitive growth? Worried that you might be failing in your parenting role because sometimes you get bored of re-reading their favourite story book, you don’t do funny character voices, or you simply need a break from all that pretend play?
In this session we will share the joy, silliness, and stress involved in parenting young children and discuss being “good enough”.
Our upcoming session is designed for parents and carers who want to know more about the everyday experiences that support early learning and growth from an expert in child development.
Join us to discover more about:
· Early learning and language
· Why reading together is valuable
· How laughter helps learning
· Being kind to yourself.
Free. Bookings required.
