Spring is the best time to sow warm-season annual flowers. This season we have a variety of new seeds that will add colourful and bright flowers to your garden.
If you’re looking for vibrant pinks, purples and reds, then you’ll want to explore our Coneflower, Zinnia and Cornflower seeds.
Coneflowers (also known as Echinacea) are easy to grow, bloom for months and best of all are heat and drought resistant. They also make great cut flowers and attract birds and pollinators.
Another easy annual to grow are Zinnia. These flowers will bring an explosion of colour to wherever they go. Their bloom lasts from late spring until autumn – they grow quickly and reliably, making them a great choice for first-time flower growers. You also will find butterflies are attracted to these colourful cheery flowers.
If you’re looking for an annual flower with some eight, then why not try Cornflowers. This variety will grow up to 90cm. Cornflower can be sown directly into the garden by scattering the seeds and lightly backfilling with soil. Cornflowers attract pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies.
