Cabbage
Brassica oleracea capitata
Cabbage is a great addition to your garden! It can be used for salads, stir fries or even fermented to make sauerkraut. It grows fairly quickly and also looks great in the garden, too.
This variety has large heads and grey/green crinkled leaves.
It’s important to plant at the correct time of year, keep the soil moderately moist, avoid overwatering and plant in a position that has good drainage. Tolerates frost.
